Tampa Convention Center

Tampa Convention Center

Located in downtown Tampa, Florida at the mouth of the Hillsborough River, the Tampa Convention Center has both waterfront views of Tampa Bay and views of the city’s skyline. Harbour Island is across the eponymous bridge on the other side of the Garrison Channel. The center is connected to the neighboring Channelside District and Ybor City. The center encompasses 600,000 square feet in total. It hosts over 300 events per year.

Event attendees at the Tampa Convention Center often stay a few days after their event. Visitors love the mild Florida weather and plenty of beaches, attractions, sports and many other places to explore. Additionally, the facility itself houses it’s very own bistro and bar. The Bay Bar & Bistro provides a distinctive dining experience, and The Sail, is Tampa’s only 360 degree waterfront bar.

Just a few blocks away is Port Tampa Bay, which now homeports five vessels from major four cruise lines. While you are visiting the Convention Center why not take in a breathtaking cruise at the same time? There’s no excuse not to. Check out all the available cruises online at Tampa Cruise Port.
